Princess Elizabeth is already in much murk as she is in line for the throne, thus proving to be threat for her elder siblings. Roger Ascham, Elizabeth s teacher and mentor tries his best to keep her safe from the dirty politics played for the throne and helps her focus on her education in the art of power and politics. Ascham decides to Elizabeth to the Ottoman capital for the chess competition along with the English chess champion. When they reach there, the two discover that they are in much more trouble than they came out of. Will the princess and her mentor be able to face these challenges thrown in their path.
