Kamalhasan began his journey as a child artist in Kalathur Kannamma. Since then, he has worked in over two hundred films and won umpteen awards. In spite of having been exposed to formal education only till standard IX, Kamal is a creative genius.

An MS in Mass Communications from Kansas State University, Roopa Swaminathan has worked in the film industry in Madras and is currently working on her first English feature film. An avid writer, her other Rupa Charitavalis include M. G. Ramachandran: Jewel of the Masses and Kamalhasan.
