n this series of fantastic adventures for children, the main characters are mice, mainly those that live in New Mouse City on Mouse Island. Most stories also involve their friends and relatives from other places.

Thea Stilton, the adventurous sister of Geronimo Stilton, is always on the lookout for new and exciting experiences. She is often successful in getting her reluctant brother, Geronimo, involved in many of her adventures too.

In this book, though, Thea is only the narrator. The actual adventure happened to a group of young female mice, who call themselves the Thea Sisters.

The story begins with Thea receiving a lovely bunch of roses from a group of former students, five young mice that took her course on investigative journalism at Mouseford. They had become her ardent fans and were the Thea Sisters.

Thea checks her email and finds a mail from the Thea Sisters. The email is a writeup of the adventure the group had in Paris. They had solved an intriguing mystery at a fashion show in Paris and were eager to share the experience with their idol, Thea.

After reading the mail, Thea decides to write a book to tell their story and gives it the title, The Mystery In Paris.

The Thea Sisters is a group of five female mice from all over the world. One of them is Colette, who is from France, and it is because of her that the group visits Paris. While on their vacation in the city, they visit the fashion school where Colette had studied, and they meet her friend, Julie.

Julie is a successful designer and is taking part in a fashion show. But, just before the show, someone steals her entire collection. The Thea Sisters decide to help her find the dresses and Colette goes undercover to find who stole them.

The adventure takes the five friends all across Paris as they desperately try to find the culprit, and recover the collection in time for Julie to be able to take part in the show.

As is usual with all the Stilton series books, the story is not just entertaining but informative too. There are special sidebars throughout the book with information on France, Paris, and many aspects of French culture.

The book also conforms to the interesting format of the series, with colorful font and style changes, to keep the attention of young readers.
